If you live on Thika road be cautious around Clayworks..some traffic policemen have made this the official bribe trap, they flag you down claiming that you were overspeeding! they dont give you evidence to show how you were. they will then ''arrest'' you till you pay a bribe. they are asking for nothing less than 5k or you bargain. It was as blatant as it could be. Pay up and get a construction permit, dont and keep waiting for as long as ''we ' decide. No choice really because i had set up all the necessary plans in place, and i had all other permits, including the official construction permit though not at hand!. I was requested to Mpesa. Interestingly, the number was in a woman's name who didnt share a name with the officer. I figured it must be a girlfriend or relative. Corruption getting smarter. We shall not change this systems with this corruption and i wish the governor all the best.

I have an outstanding bill with @kenyapower for 13k that i havent managed to pay for 5.5 months. i lost my job and i have been forced to cut down on many expenses. with small children i cant afford not to have power. i have tried to negotiate with KP but their terms are not flexible enough for me.:( my wife is also in college and she studies at night. so when the KP guy came to disconnect from the pole, i gave him half of what he wanted which was 3k. i promised to send the difference. this is why i find it very painful when i hear Mps complaining about 532k while i am trying to manage my very little money and going against everything i stand for to pay a bribe,

If you park around westlands road near International casino you know that the Kanju ticketing agents have a big scam going on and if the Governor was revenue, he needs to change this guys. this guys charge 70-100/ per parking with no ticket. taxi guys around here are having a ball since they don't pay anything. so @kideroevans the journey of a 1000 miles( or journey of revenue) starts with single step.500 cars x 70..go figure per day.

So what value is a police abstract if when you get stopped by police on a traffic stop and it explains very clearly that you have lost, your ID, Driver licence et al, they then claim the document is not genuine, they claim that YOU HAVE TO PROVE the authenticity of the document?? how do you prove authenticity when you don't have the the original document? all this because am Kenyan Somali???
